You may receive minor
injuries or serious
injuries that may be
life threatening. As we
all know the costs for
medical care are high,
and if you sustain
serious injuries and in
some cases minor
injuries you may have
large medical bills.
Further, who will cover
the damage to your car?
With the high costs of
car repair and the high
value of present day
vehicles, it would be
logical to obtain all
the automobile insurance
possible.
Therefore, a lot of
individuals obtain full
coverage insurance
thereby protecting
themselves against
uninsured or
under-insured motorists,
and large medical bills.
I would recommend you
consult with your
insurance agent to
determine the best
insurance coverage for
you.
One
of the most important
things to remember if
you are involved in an
automobile accident or
other type of wreck, is
that information, facts,
and details are
important.
Call
your local police to
make a report, and
assist you at the
accident scene.
Then
find out the other
driver's name, address,
phone number, insurance
carrier and license
plate number. Also, if
there are any witnesses,
obtain their name,
address, and phone
number. Further,
anything you may say at
a wreck scene, may come
forward later in the
form of courtroom
testimony. It is
important that you
always give accurate
facts (details) to the
police officer who is
investigating the wreck.
These facts (details) or
parts of these facts
usually are placed in
the accident report by
the officer. Thereby,
making them part of the
permanent record.
